Frequently Asked Questions

What is black seed oil good for?

Black cumin oil (from Nigella sativa) is traditionally used to strengthen the immune system, treat allergies, inflammation, skin problems (such as acne, atopic dermatitis), and digestive problems. It contains many unsaturated fatty acids, essential oils (especially thymoquinone), and antioxidants.

How do you take black seed oil?

It is most commonly taken pure – 1 teaspoon in the morning (sometimes in the evening). However, it can also be mixed with honey or yogurt, or purchased in capsules if you don't like the taste. Important: Do not exceed 1–2 teaspoons per day.

Which olive oil is the best?

The highest quality is extra virgin olive oil – cold-pressed, without chemical additives. Good oils often come from Italy, Greece, or Spain – but quality from other countries, such as the Middle East, is also possible. Organic quality is a plus.

Does olive oil help lower cholesterol?

Yes, as part of a healthy diet, olive oil can lower cholesterol (especially LDL cholesterol). It provides healthy monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants. It indirectly helps with weight loss – through increased satiety and healthy fats.
